As an exercise I will post each day one of Dale Carnegie’s How to Stop Worrying and Start Living rules. This book was written in the 30s and is still of great popularity. The book offers a set of practical formulas to help overcome worry which are said to last a lifetime.
Hope you’ll enjoy it and get some worry less enlightenment.
Rule #18 Forget yourself by becoming interested in others. Every day do a good deed that will put a smile of joy on someone’s face.
Trying to please others will cause us to stop thinking of ourselves: the very thing that produces worry, fear and melancholia. Get interested in helping others, finding out about their lives by listening and complimenting them.
Let’s forget our own unhappiness by trying to create a little happiness for others. “When you are good to others, you are best to yourself.”
Well said, and indeed ” When you are good to others, you are best to yourself”. I had one very nice experience with one of the broadband company and I wrote a post to express my appreciation http://www.abhhme.com/show-appreciation-when-we-could/

It’s so true…wouldn’t it be nice if everyone showed a bit more appreciation to each other. Thank you for sharing your post.
